If he or she broke up with u a day(s)/week(s)/month(s) before your anniversary, would u still send them the gift u bought ?
You should ask yourself why you bought them the gift in the first place.
1. If you are buying gifts to retain their loyalty then by all means keep the gift and try to get your money back.
2. If you are buying the gift because you wanted them to have it and understand that a true gift is given without conditions, then give the gift and expect nothing.
3. If you cannot give the gift without expecting something in return, then DO NOT give it as it will just be another painful memory!!!
